First-Ever Drone Show in India
DRONISOS TURNS 2
Bordeaux, November 20, 2018 – Surrounded by the Bordeaux tech community, the Dronisos team is celebrating its 2nd anniversary today. This milestone is an opportunity to take stock and, above all, to look ahead by revealing its future outlook.
Already 10,000 Successful Shows
In two years, the startup has become one of the global leaders in automated drone shows, notably crossing the milestone of 10,000 completed shows.
The adventure began with indoor shows blending drones and dancers, produced for corporate events (Airbus, Dell, Volvo…) or TV shows (Britain’s Got Talent, Tu Si Que Vales, Arab’s Got Talent, Le plus grand Cabaret).
Then Dronisos installed permanent shows in major entertainment venues, adapting to each configuration: large-scale theme parks, mainstream circuses, science museums, and shopping centers.
In 2018, the company accelerated its outdoor shows, offering new sound and light experiences in stadiums (South Asian Games, FIFA Gulf Cup) or urban environments (NOVAQ).
In total, the Dronisos team has operated over 10,000 shows around the world.
Already a Global Player, and Even a Pioneer in India
Dronisos sells its new kind of shows—and the associated technology—worldwide: USA, UK, Italy, Malaysia, China, Hong Kong, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon… Demand is particularly strong in the Middle East and Asia.
Despite very strict regulatory barriers, Dronisos recently succeeded in convincing India to open its doors. On November 27, the young Bordeaux-based company will deliver the first-ever 150-drone show in the skies of Bhubaneswar, in this country of 1.3 billion inhabitants.
Already Supported by Investors and Institutions
This momentum attracted investors (Aquiti, Galia Gestion, Expanso, Nicolas Béraud, and Hervé Berthou) last June for a first fundraising round of €2M.
Its capacity for innovation and high growth potential were also recently praised by Bpifrance, which awarded it the BPI Excellence label.
