A unique drone show in France to discover starting July 15

Jaunay-Marigny, July 13, 2017. This summer, Futuroscope is offering a festival of activities and shows for the whole family. With attendance on the rise since the start of the season, Futuroscope is even offering XXL opening hours, from 8:30 a.m. to midnight starting August 1, with 2 night shows scheduled per day. Plenty of opportunity to enjoy a maximum number of attractions… and to discover the latest novelty to date, a unique drone show in France.

«The Drone Academy», starting July 15, 2017

Based on an original script written in partnership with Futuroscope and Anne-Caroline d'Arnaudy, Dronisos delivers an automated show featuring 15 Parrot Bebop 2 drones, combining theater, humor, and technological prowess!

An interactive show summarized as follows: "This is the last-chance test for the cream of the crop of drones: the dunces of Futuroscope's Higher Drone Academy. If they fail, exclusion is guaranteed along with the risk of ending up as a dog fan. It will be up to the spectators, following their performances, to decide their future!"

“For each of our shows, we focus all our efforts on creating emotion. Three essential ingredients for this: great toys provided by Parrot, high creativity, and highly technical expertise. The show presented at Futuroscope all summer long is the culmination of extensive technical, but also artistic, research. Our dream is for the spectator to forget that they are dealing with drones and to only see the 'characters' on stage. «Fly Jump», the aquatic breeze of summer

Every day, "Fly Jump", last summer's hit, presents a new diving show focused on performance. Professionals from France, Brazil, Ukraine, and Belarus dive from up to 25 meters high into a pool only 3 meters deep.

Live Mix every evening from 7:00 p.m. at the heart of the Park

In partnership with the UCPA DJ School in Poitiers—a center renowned for training the best DJs through practical and theoretical instruction with famous professionals—and Pioneer DJ, a major partner in the DJ world, Futuroscope invites visitors to discover original musical productions in optimal live conditions.
DJs from the UCPA DJ School will provide live music in Futuroscope's brand-new Food Truck area throughout the summer season. Pioneer DJ will hold free DJ workshops to discover and hone deejaying skills (Specific events, dates, and information on the Pioneer DJ France Facebook page).
This new fast-food area offers a wide selection of cocktails, appetizer boards, and street food that will complement the musical experience perfectly.

"La Forge aux Etoiles", a night aquafantasy designed by Cirque du Soleil

On a 7,000 m² lake, a big bang of visual, aquatic, and pyrotechnic effects merge to bring to life and body this new night aquafantasy dedicated to the whole family. Tailor-made for Futuroscope, this show marks Cirque du Soleil's first resident installation in France.

Every evening at nightfall. Two consecutive shows from August 1 to 28, 2017 (10:15 p.m. and 11:00 p.m.).

"The Extraordinary Journey", the visitors' favorite attraction! (New for 2017)

The Extraordinary Journey offers visitors the chance to fly, feet dangling in the air, over the four corners of the globe in a journey inspired by Jules Verne's Around the World in 80 Days.

The Park's new 2017 attraction is already the visitors' favorite, with a satisfaction rating exceeding 9.04/10.

"IllusiO, a Magical Destiny" (New for 2017)

Futuroscope magician Bertran Lotth offers a new grand illusion show this season. "IllusiO" is a show inspired by New Magic, utilizing new technological processes such as holograms. Created with the involvement of artistic director Raphaël Navarro and Nestor Hato, the show also relies on greater audience participation.
